The best way to become proficient at cross country skiing is to take lessons,
use good equipment and ski on well-prepared trails. Lone Mountain Ranch is proud
to offer all of these elements that contribute so much to becoming a better
skier.

on skis before to the more advanced skier who wants to master graceful telemark

Group 1.5-Hour Lessons are $40
Private Lessons (per hour) $65
First Timer Package (lessons, trail fee, rental) $53 This is a great way to start out cross country skiing the right way.

of our nordic staff has been here multiple seasons. They are trained naturalists
as well as ski instructors and have strong back-country skills. They enjoy
people and sharing their knowledge of the area's natural history. Time spent
with our nordic staff results in improved skiing skills and an enhanced appreciation
of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
