Camping
is one of our favorite pastimes at Lone Mountain Ranch. If you are over 7 years
old you can go on an expedition into the backcountry of the Ranch's 150 acres
and feel what it was like for Lewis & Clark to experience the Gallatin Valley
for the first time. We also provide a separate expedition just for the teens
on which we load up our backpacks and head out to learn all the fundamental
skills for camping in the wilderness. It is one of the highlights of the week
and guaranteed fun for all. It is a good idea to bring your own sleeping bag
(we do have a few extra), flashlight, and an extra set of dry clothes. Most
parents end up mailing the sleeping bags one week prior to their arrival. Don't
worry, we will supply all the s'mores you could possibly want to eat. If there
