This spectacular trail is a loop that is skied clockwise and begins at the northernmost point on the North Fork trail at Intersection #13. Little Bavaria is a 5.5 km loop tha extends up the North Fork Creek towardthe Spanish Peaks. It offers an exciting downhill through meadows, turning through huge spruce trees. This trail offers great views of Yellow Mountain and is a good choice for windy or snowy days. Round trip from the ranch is 10 km.The bench shown is at the highest elevation on Little Bavaria. It's a great place to have lunch,rest after a long uphill, or just contemplate the beautiful surroundings.
