We have fished before but were by no means good trout fishermen. Our guide taught us about the mountains, the rivers, the wildlife, the environment, the geology and the overall experience of being in Montana. He taught us to respect and care of the environment and the fish. We watched wildlife graze while we fished. We watched an eagle feed while we fished. We watched a geyser erupt while we fished. And all of the time we were improving our technique and our love of fishing. It was really something.
