Lone Mountain Ranch is proud of its award winning guide staff. Program Manager and Guide, Ennion Williams has led his team of well trained, highly motivated guides for the past five years. Guides Gary Lewis and Brian Kimmel have both won the prestigious ORVIS® Endorsed Guide of the Year award. John Hall, Rick Reed, Mike Mansfield, Kurt Dehmer, Sean Diesel and Ed Lawrence round out a strong staff dedicated to teach all aspects of fishing to both beginners and experienced fly fishers. Emphasis is placed on teaching and correct techniques as well as appreciating the natural environment surrounding Yellowstone Country.

After a day of fishing, guests have a better understanding of fish habitat, entomology, casting techniques, wading skills, basic knots and fly presentation. Our professional guides will help you experience Montana fly fishing at its best. The Fly Fishing Program is geared toward fishermen of all levels.
